Thomas L. Roberts, a founding shareholder of ROBERTS LEVIN ROSENBERG PC, is a civil trial and appellate lawyer who focuses his practice on representing individual and corporate policyholders in disputes with insurers. Mr. Roberts received his undergraduate degree from the University of Iowa and his law degree from the University of Denver, where he served as an Editor of the Law Review and graduated with honors. Following a clerkship with the Honorable Sherman G. Finesilver of the United Stated District Court for the District of Colorado, Mr. Roberts entered the private practice of law and has more than 30 years experience in civil law practice. Mr. Roberts has substantial experience in coverage and bad faith matters involving insurance of all types, and prosecuted the first case establishing the tort of insurance bad faith in the state of Colorado (Farmers Group Inc. v. Trimble, Colo. 1984). Mr. Roberts serves on the Colorado Supreme Committee for Civil Jury Instructions and is a frequent lecturer at CLE events. He has been voted by his peers as a Best Lawyer in America® for more than 10 consecutive years, is a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers, and carries Martindale-Hubbell's highest peer rating, AV. In 2006, Mr. Roberts appeared in Colorado Super Lawyers® and 5280 magazine. |
